The goddess is waiting—Do you have a request or are you just here to pay your respects?

Or…Karma is a bitch so I don’t need to be…🤣

If you’re an SC grad, you know! But for the rest of you, just enjoy the picture painted by the fun mix of words of who the lady in these photos could be…

Had fun hearing some pertinent updates about the industry and tips from Erica Bream during SC’s grad night follow up🙏 It’s not you (or me…nor is it ever), it’s a slow pilot season. With tons of content in backlog, there isn’t as many new shows casting yet! This is a feast or famine industry at times so you know what to do! And whatever you do or don’t do? Stay out of overthinking things (trust me, we all do it)!

A great English teacher once taught me that the difference between being a great writer vs a sufficient one is the ability to show vs tell. I feel like that applies to all great artists.

I was blown away by tonight’s performance of by

I came in knowing next to nothing about the play (something about Christmas, brothers, holidays…Risky, right?) but confident in taste & ability…DAMN. It was a roller coaster ride from beginning to end, where if there wasn’t a lap belt I would’ve ended up in the bushes. (Hell, maybe I’m writing this from the bushes right now! 🎢)

The kinship, intimacy, and unspeakable history of a family shown not simply told. I felt viscerally the embodiment of each character’s past & present…without the graphic telling of the trauma. That’s a rare thing these days…to trust that their humanity and the humanity of their characters would evoke the understanding without having to spell it out. And that’s the way some people live out their pasts, their traumas (big or little t), it permeates the air around them. Shown not told.

Here’s the kicker: It was closing night! I’m fortunate I have so many insanely talented friends that lure me out to their productions. Follow these brilliant people so you can get in on these magical opportunities of—is it too obtuse to say divinity?

And certainly, my appreciation of theater being a theater geek growing up serves me well - but gosh, I wish the whole world saw it too.

Thank you, thank you to these artists and all artists for creating and continuing to create 💚

Reveling in sold out performance The Sierra Madre Playhouse!

No small feat in the LA area, which doesn’t have a strong theater culture like NYC does!

So much fun seeing how this one man show has evolved since it’s debut at the Hollywood Fringe festival! And amazing time catching up with before & after the show!

Much more to come I’m sure…or rather: To be continued (as they say in the pictures)!

Look up toward the north east if you’re in LA! Where there’s rain + sun?

There’s a rainbow!!!!

I love hearing the kids nearby losing their s**t over it 🥹 lol, matches my vibe completely!!! Ofc, Sheba tried to smell a dead rat but I caught her right before she did…mid-high 🥲😅 I guess that’s divine timing too 🙏

Meet Irene Park, our Team Member!

In a former life, after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Irene Park worked in marketing then as a corporate philanthropy consultant in NYC at a subsidiary of Omnicom, one of the world’s largest media, marketing, and communications holding company.

Irene established herself as a grantmaking pro, managing complex portfolios like the one for Altria Client Services’ Youth Smoking Prevention program, which exceeds $20 million annually; and Communities In Schools’ intricate re-granting portfolio, which involves the expert handling of funds from donors like Wal-Mart and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She also played an integral role in the ex*****on of the Avon Hello Tomorrow Fund award program, reviewing many of the more than 8,000 applications over two years’ time and in the end helping award more than $500,000 to individuals in 36 states who are engaged in compelling, highly-impactful projects that empower American women and girls.

In the height of the global recession and with full job security, she left the corporate world to pursue acting full-time back in her hometown of Los Angeles, CA. In Los Angeles, she continued to pursue the craft of acting on stage, television, and film. For over six years, she had the privilege of calling the prestigious Warner Loughlin Studios, where she has studied acting, voice and movement, and audition technique, her acting home. She has had the privilege of being the teacher’s assistant at Warner Loughlin Studios for her scene study, invitation only Master, and Audition Technique class. Currently, she’s repped theatrically by Linda McAlister Talent and commercially by Luxe Talent Agency. Most recently, she has added Victoria Monroe of Monroe Talent Management to her team. She continues to act commercially and theatrically while writing and developing scripts for film and television.
