New construction in Georgetown may have landscape differently as city attempts to conserve water The Georgetown City Council is discussing making updates to the city's development code, which was created more than 20 years ago, to conserve more water.

The roadway is now open.

Westinghouse is currently shut down at Mays due to a downed Suddenlink/Optimum pole. It is not currently known when the road will be clear. Please avoid the area and find an alternate route if possible.

This is a huge accomplishment! Congratulations to our city staff.

The City has secured a AAA bond rating, S&P's highest level 🎉. This shows our commitment to 💵 sound financial management + 💲 is already saving taxpayer money, due to lower interest rates when we issue bonds for large projects, like roads and facilities. Today's bond issuance sold for ~$800,000 less thanks to the new rating 🙌.
