Two Step Inn contract was renewed for 3-years last night.
Other changes:
- 20% ticket allotment for Georgetown residents pre-sale. An increase from last year.
- Up to 40,000 tickets
- City to make good faith effort to improve temporary cell coverage.
Unfortunately, my marketing advice wasn’t a part of the contract.

Why did I vote to approve a 1,161 residential development between FM-3405 and Ronald Reagan? - The alternative was worse because the city cannot legally require the 335 acres to remain undeveloped.

This is a huge accomplishment! Congratulations to our city staff.

The City has secured a AAA bond rating, S&P's highest level 🎉. This shows our commitment to 💵 sound financial management + 💲 is already saving taxpayer money, due to lower interest rates when we issue bonds for large projects, like roads and facilities. Today's bond issuance sold for ~$800,000 less thanks to the new rating 🙌.
