A lot of people don’t know that I’m a cowgirl by birth. I grew up on a big property, and we had our own barn, horses, cows and chickens. I learned how to drive a manual Ford pickup when I was 9 so I could go bale the hay out in the pasture for the horses. I know how to saddle and ride. I’ve seen tons of baby cows being born. I know how to barrel race. I loved getting fresh eggs from the chicken coop.

I would say the way I grew up contributed a lot to who I am now, and although I love cali and staring at all the palm trees… nothing quite compares to the ranch way of life and how it feels to connect with animals and smell all the dirt and the dust.

I would really love to live on some property one day and have some horses to care for and a reason to put on my boots to go shovel & a few 4 wheelers to ride… in sha Allah one day. 🤠

Honestly what gets me sometimes is that people have the capacity to look you straight in the face and lie. And carry on lies. And continue to lie even after that. Sometimes the injustice of things I’ve been through weighs me down, but then I bring it back to Allah and I remember that He is the MOST JUST.✨👑

He sees everything and His sight is perfect. He will have the final say. Nothing you go through in life goes unnoticed or unrecorded by the Most Supreme. Keep calm, stay patient, build your faith high as you can. Stay steadfast + remember that all will be rectified in the end…. whether it takes place in this life or the next. ‏الله اكبر

Is instagram still broken? My posts have been trying to post for like 24 hours now on my story and my page!! Everything seems lost up in the internet somewhere…. LOL testing testing 🥹

People fear lack of success and it stops them from actually doing things— myself included. 💭

We want to be the best version of ourselves but sometimes we get down about the stage of progress were in because were not perfect.

Pressure to grow or change won’t make you grow any faster. Try to remember that not everything is always possible over night… even the entire Quran being revealed… even palm trees growing tall and sturdy… even babies as they form within before they’re born...

Know that there is a prescribed time for everything. Pray for guidance & growth and have strong faith in Allah: His guidance, His love, and especially His forgiveness!!!!! 🫶🏽

Some days are tough, but not everything will stay up or down forever. When we can understand and accept the transient nature of this life, we can learn to be happy & grateful no matter the circumstances 💯

I’ve actually been bad with coffee lately, been having one or four here and there so I need to eliminate it from my diet again. But I have been trying to get to bed earlier, so there’s some progress with that 🫠

Allah reminds us in Quran that our property and our children are a test for us (8:28). He also warns us against letting our wealth and children divert us from the remembrance of Him (63:9).

When we remember to make our most Merciful Creator our #1 priority, we hand ourselves, our problems, and responsibilities over to Him.

When we put Allah and His religion first, everything else will ultimately fall into place. No matter what comes our way, we always have our prayer, and we have Him to lean on. We do not have to be able to manage, control, and understand everything, as it is not our purpose in this life.

May He guide us closer to Him, increase us in mercy & goodness, and perfect our prayers. Ameen. 🤲🏼✨💭

Make your well-being and healing a top priority. Have the courage to create boundaries that will support your flourishing. Listen closely to your intuition, respect your need for rest and connect with people who are emotionally mature. Being intentional with your life is loving yourself well. ✨

I read something the other day that I thought was super beautiful.❤️‍🔥 It went along the lines of this:

A seeker once asked a believer, “how can I see God?"

The believer said, “look at the sun.”

The seeker looked toward the sun, but after a few seconds squinted in pain and said, "I can’t, its burning my eyes.”

The believer then replied, “you can't even look at the sun without hurting your eyes, and you want to see the Creator of the sun?"

Super short story, but I thought it was as really beautiful and very profound. What are your thoughts? ☀️😎💭
