Our vision is to build up, motivate, and unify all children and youth in the community.
I thank God for a WONDERFUL 18th Annual Community School Supply giveaway. I am grateful to God for allowing the members of Community Praise Ministry & Sponsors the opportunity to bless our community students. Community Praise Ministry members job well done!! With GOD's direction all things are possible!! A special thanks to H-E-B who truly loves our students, Author Davidson who works so hard to show his love for our community students. Also, A big thanks to Charles McGowen, HISD Transportation Director, Matthew Lahey, HISD Communication’s Coordinator, Bill Roberts, HISD Assistant Superintendent, Mrs. Robin Swackhamer, Sheila Simmon & HISD Maintenance Department, SRO Officer Sergeant Legerski, and the rest of our HISD Family you are a great asset to our community! You've heard it before, but man it really fits the Community Praise Ministry's Back to School Supply Giveaway and our Huntsville ISD Registration Event this past Saturday!!
Together, the Community Praise Ministry volunteers and donors distributed over 1100 bags of supplies to Huntsville and Walker County students.
Our students and families had the chance to say "hi" to their principals, and get a sausage on a stick courtesy of our Huntsville ISD Transportation Department- and there were plenty of folks from our community joining in on the Back to School fun!
This is the second of two posts--- so many photos!

Join us Saturday morning for our Annual Community Praise Ministry Indoor Garage Sale!
Come get yourself a deal in the cold A/C! Our Annual Community Praise Ministry INSIDE Garage Sale is this Saturday, July 1st! From 7:30 am- 1:00pm at the Samuel Walker Houston Elementary Cafeteria
Deals start at 50 cents! And there’s something for everyone so come on down.
And when you come , come hungry! Because beginning at 11:00 am we’ll be serving fresh plates of Fried Chicken Baked Beans Potato Salad and a Roll- All for $10.
Also, at 11:00 am, it’s the stuff-your-bag special, your opportunity to stuff a bag full of select items for $3 dollars!!
Remember, all funds go to the Community Praise Ministry’s Back to School Supply Giveaway at Huntsville High on Saturday July 29th, from 10:00 am, now celebrating our 18th year of serving kids and families. We appreciate your support- See you Saturday!

Happy New Year! I’m reaching out today to share that our daughter Monica with her anti-trafficking non-profit Beauty for Freedom rang the NASDAQ bell in honor of National Human Trafficking Awareness Month last week.

We are so proud of her and Beauty for Freedom has a new mission trip in Mexico at the end of January inn support of young survivors of trafficking we ask that you would support if you are able to. They are still in need of raising $5000 for art supplies, musical instruments, food, COVID tests and PPE.
Any amount of a donation would be so greatly appreciated and a blessing to these young souls who will be empowered by the creativity and music Beauty for Freedom will provide.
