You will be guided in a step by step process and take home a fresh, heavy bodied, vacuumed packaged, dressed fryer. March 10th UPDATE - We so appreciate everyone's patience during this extremely high demand season. In addition to reserving orders...our primary focus is making sure that all of the babies are getting the priority care they need. Sometimes, it just seems there are not enough hours in the day.

We are not booking any more orders for March 11th as our available inventory is extremely low and we must focus our attention on preparing for tomorrow's deliveries.

We will be posting availability for March 18 at the end of this weekend. We will not be reserving and confirming any orders for any date over this weekend but will resume on Monday.

Just a reminder that we will have chicks, guineas, turkeys and ducks in April but are not reserving those just yet.

Inventory and Hatch Update: Please read carefully before scrolling to the breed list. We appreciate your patience with us…you have been waiting for an update and wondering what happened. Our last post in January generated an overwhelming volume of requests. Those have continued and at times, it has been difficult to keep up. We are a three member family team and in addition to reserving orders, we manage a substantially large flock, a small herd of cattle and additional farm responsibilities. Like most small farms, two of us are employed full time and the third member of the team is a junior in high school. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you and look forward to doing so through the next couple of months. We do need to make a couple of changes (see below) in our process in order to serve everyone in a timely manner.

1. All questions, requests and reservations must be emailed. We can’t manage questions in the comments…just not enough hours in the day.
2. If you would like to make a reservation, include your first and last name and a phone number along with the quantity of each breed you would like to reserve. This will save us both lots of back and forth emails. Please be patient with response time…we answer everything in the order it is received.
3. We are only taking orders on what we still have available for pickup this Saturday, March 4th. We are low on inventory, so we strongly recommend pre-ordering…we have sold out before Saturday the last two weeks.
4. We will not reserve any orders after 9:00 AM on Friday for the next day pickup date. We have to have time to complete invoices and prepare for the next day.

We will be posting next week’s availability soon at which time you can pre-order for March 11th pickup. We will have ducks, turkeys and guineas late March and in April but we are not reserving those at this time.

Expected Hatch and Inventory Update: We have listed our expected inventory below for February 18 and 25 and you may now begin placing orders for these two weeks. Among our early offerings are a couple of new breeds, including Blue Cuckoo Marans and Welbars. We will also have some returning favorites in Cinnamon Queens, Blue S*x Links and Salmon Faverolles.

We are looking forward to serving you this year and we have some other new breed additions we think you will really enjoy! We will be posting our expected March inventory soon which will include guineas, ducks and turkeys among other new and returning chicken breeds.
