Tornado Watch has been canceled for Franklin, Oxford, Carroll, and Coos Counties. The Tornado Watch has been extended until 10PM for York, Cumberland, Strafford, and Rockingham Counties.

Hi Everyone. We're tracking severe thunderstorm threat over the next few hours. Damaging wind remains the primary threat. Localized flooding, hail, and a few tornadoes are possible.

Southern New Hampshire will have the greatest threat for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes over the next hour. A Tornado Warning is in effect for parts of Cheshire County. We'll monitor progression into Rockingham, Strafford, and York Counties. This will be the area to watch.

Low clouds have been slow to break for most of Maine this afternoon. That might be a little bit of good news as returning sunshine will make the atmosphere quite unstable. Let's keep an eye on this next two hours. Severe threat in Maine should fall 5PM to 9PM range.

30% to 44% (red)chance damaging wind 25 miles out from a point.
10% to 14% (yellow)chance tornado 25 miles out from a point.
Most action should be 4 pm to 8 pm.

Timing of strong and severe thunderstorms should be 4pm to 5pm hills/mountains. 6pm to 9pm closer to the coast. Damaging wind remains the primary threat. Hail, localized flooding, and isolated tornado are possible. This future radar is a good estimate 4 pm to 9pm.

Sundays Storm Prediction Center severe threat for damaging wind and tornado is about as high as you’ll see for New Hampshire and far Western Maine.
Wind: 30% chance 25 miles out from any given point.
Tornado 10% chance 25 miles out from any given point.
Timing is late afternoon through evening.

Here's the first cell that moved across the south side of Sebago Lake this afternoon. It produced wind damage in Windham and a gust of 57 MPH in East Baldwin.

Today was the most humid June day in Portland in 49 years. Dew point climbed to 75° mid-day. That's the highest dew point on record this early in the season. It ties June 27th 1969 and June 23rd 1975 for 2nd most humid June day on record.
