UTAR ASHRAE Student Branch is organizing an event named ASHRAE Conventus 2023, which comprises two parts:

1. HVAC Design Calculation Competition
Participants will calculate the heating and cooling load, and air flow rate required for a building allocated by ASHRAE, while complying the building requirements and ASHRAE standards.

Details of the competition are as follow:
Competition Date: 3/1/2023 to 26/3/2023
Registration Deadline: 2/1/2023
Registration Fees per group: RM 100

2. Networking Night
Participants will have the opportunities network with sponsors, judges, and mentors of the competition. The winners of the competition will be declared on the night.

Moreover, they are recruiting committees to organize the event. This is the best chance for everyone to improve soft skills, network with industrial players in the HVAC&R field and understand the HVAC&R basics, which will be beneficial for future job opportunities!

🔒The pandemic that began at the end of 2019 and the lockdown that comes after have led to the suspension of most activities. For the safety and health of the students, UTAR has also suspended all activities. 😢
