Homer Spit is one of my all time favorite beaches to visit! I found this shell piece while I was there and knew right away that it was going to be a necklace.

Beach stone necklace made with a greenish gray stone between faceted glass beads on a hoop with a wire wrapped bail. The pendant hangs from an 18ā soldered copper chain necklace with a hook and loop closure with a two inch extender.

I love to take little walks on our property to see what I can find.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the spruce grouse! I stood very still and watched it and a squirrel. The squirrel chased it in a circle (too fast to get a photo) then they both went up different trees. So fun!
Fireweed is getting its fall color on. And, berries are ripe. Love all the colors!

Okay, Iām back in the studio having fun drilling little stones. Canāt wait to make some pretty pieces!
This is my set up whenever I drill. My drill press makes a huge difference! The little block of wood works great to place the stones on to drill, as you can see it has been well used. And, I change out the water often as it get cloudy.
This is such a pretty bracelet. Made with red pebbles from Kasilof with agate and copper beads and dangles for counterweight.

I admit Iām always up for a beach trip. The salty air, sand under my feet and the sound of ocean waves!
This seaside mobile is the perfect reminder of all of that! Itās the last one in my shop until I set aside a day to make another one.
Yes these mobile take me a full day to create. I cold forge the wave and swirls, decide on all materials and then connect all together.

Went for a drive yesterday. Rained a couple times along the way until we got to the beach. Marie 907North Designs and I had a wonderful walk. Could not have been any better!
