We sent our kids out to say hi to the neighbors and come back with some candy…. They did not disappoint 🤙

Wow! What a great summer! It is still not over but we are going to enjoy the last of the warm weather while we can and RELAX!
Just to show you how busy we have been, Oliver, the other day, wakes up after nap time and asks “Where are we going?”.
NO WHERE! 🙌🏻
Yay! For a time, we are staying home and enjoying being around town and getting back into a normal routine.
Patrick turned one and now seems to want to be on a “one nap” schedule, so we are working on that. I still have A TON of laundry to do… I am pretty sure that never goes away. Oliver, is being a great big brother! He loves Patrick so much and really enjoys playing with him. I love watching their relationship grow. ❤️
Tim and I are Middle School Youth leaders. We love our students! They keep us busy but we love all the time and relationships we get to make every year!
So there is a little life update! If you saw my stories yesterday, these last couple of weeks have been just so busy and I decided social media was not my priority, so as things slow down, I will hopefully be back more consistently! I really want this place to be a place of encouragement and family fun so those are my goals for the this fall!

I love my boys so much! They truly are a reward!
I thought this week was going to be a lot harder on me than it has been. Besides waking up early, they have been great! I am super thankful for photos like this to help me remember these short, long days when they are all big and grown.

We all have a “Why” we are doing something. My “Why” isn’t going to be the same as yours and it shouldn’t be. My “Why” is my family! ❤️
One of my goals, even before I was married, was that I wanted to be home with my kids as they grew up. At the being that was hard because I do know a lot of women who work and are moms and I felt left behind or I felt like I was missing out. When I finally came to realize that I needed to be home with my kids and I came to be OK with that, I feel like I became a better mom because I know my job right now is to be home with my kids.

Now, being home with my kids doesn’t mean that I can’t use my time wisely either. Last year, I spent my free time watching Hulu, Netflix, listening to fun books, and scrolling social media.
THIS YEAR I made a change! My “Why” is my family! So how can I use my time more wisely? I decided to watch less T.V., stop scrolling as much and listen to more encouraging and educational things. 🤓

Change can’t happen if I don’t do anything different. Has it been easy? NO - Have I sat and scrolled since than…YES
YES! I AM NOT PERFECT, BUT I AM TRYING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR MY ‘WHY’! 💪
