Important travel information for our patients travelling to their appointments for June 21-June 28:
"WSDOT will close SR 9 between Lundeen Parkway and SR 204 for major roundabout construction starting at 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, through 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 28.
Business access will remain open during the closure. Visit the roundabout construction blog for detour maps and more information about what you can expect.
As the closure approaches remember these tips for traveling during major construction closures:
• Plan on using alternate routes.
• Avoid unnecessary trips through the area.
• Carpool to reduce the number of vehicles on the road.
• Delay your trip or plan to travel at off-peak times.
• Follow signed detours.
• Plan for extra travel time.
Please drive carefully, avoid distractions and be aware of other drivers.
This closure is weather dependent and may be rescheduled.
This will be the second multi-lane roundabout built along SR 9 in the area. On June 8, we wrapped up construction on the first a little bit to the north at the Vernon Road intersection."
