Also, I was able to experience the administrative side of the preschool environment as we worked with the director on various issues she was facing.”

Greenbrier has celebrated 44 pre-k graduates this week!! We could not be more thankful for the opportunity to teach these precious students. Thank you, parents, for the confidence you place in us. It is not something we take for granted.

Quite the day in Atlanta! Celebrated our own Bianca Brown as Educator of the Year along with Georgia’s Department of Early Care and Learning and our friends from Georgia Foundation for Early Care and Learning. It was a proud day for all of us at The Bradley Schools!

Miss Lillie Carter has been a member of our Greenbrier family for 4 years! From the school aged summer campers to the twos to the children in pre-k, we couldn’t be more proud of her or the impact she has made on so many of our students. Congratulations Miss Lillie! ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

Today we celebrated 3 years with Courtney Diehl! 3 years of teaching children, impacting their lives, and encouraging her coworkers to be their best. We are so thankful for this educator and that she is part of our Bradley School family! Congratulations Courtney!!

Bianca Brown talks about winning Georgia's Early Childhood Educators of the Year award!

Proud of our people! Bianca Brown was interviewed and celebrated today for being an outstanding educator - thanks to The Mix WRDW for recognizing an outstanding toddler teacher!

One Columbia County teacher wins state-wide award: “If I can change one mind, I did my job, I can make a difference.” For Bianca Brown, working with toddlers is rewarding, but Thursday morning she was rewarded for her dedicated work.

We are always proud of our crew, but these are a few that make us extra proud! Congratulations to our 2023 teacher of the year (Courtney Diehl), employee of the year (Brittany Williamson), Rising Star (Kyanah Hines), MVP (Kaitlyn McLaughlin), and Above and Beyond (Jasmine Santos). They are a few of the reasons our school is so special! Way to go, y’all!!

Greenbrier prek visited The Oaks at Evans today to see our senior friends! We sang Christmas carols, ate cookies, and shared Christmas gifts with them. It was the best time! ❤️❤️

The Bradley Schools could not BE more proud of our educators - especially Greenbrier’s own Bianca Brown!! She is one of two finalists for the Educator of the Year (toddler division) and we are proud to call her our own! Congratulations!!

DECAL and Georgia Foundation for Early Care and Learning have named their six finalists for Georgia’s Early Childhood Educators of the Year for 2023-2024. The program, which started two years ago, recognizes outstanding early education teachers of children ages birth to preschool with an Infant Teacher of the Year (0-18 months), Toddler Teacher of the Year (15-36 months), and Preschool Teacher of the Year (36-48 months).

Finalists in the Infant Category are Olivia Silvers from Lemon Tree Academy Monroe and Noel Weimer from Water Oak Family Child Care Learning Home in Roswell; finalists in the Toddler Category are Donna Humphries, a Family Child Care Learning Home provider in Woodstock, and Bianca Brown from the Greenbriar School in Evans; and finalists in the Preschool Category are Chantelle Hester from Smart Starters Academy Family Child Care Learning Home in Savannah and Riquella Preston from Bright Start Preschool in Valdosta.

Each finalist will receive $500 from the Georgia Foundation for Early Care + Learning. Three winners will be announced mid- to late December. They will each receive $3,000 for their personal use, $2,000 for a classroom makeover, and up to $2,500 for their school to cover travel costs and stipends for substitute teachers as the teacher fulfills their duties as Georgia’s Early Childhood Educators of the Year.

Winners serve as ambassadors for Georgia’s Early Childhood Educators of the Year program through activities related to modeling effective classroom practices and public speaking appearances.

Program directors working with early childhood teachers dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young children were asked to nominate applicants for Georgia’s Early Childhood Educator of the Year through an online application. Winners are selected from six semi-finalists who each received a classroom observation and faced a panel during a personal interview.

A few little elves visited Oakbrook today and brought in the holiday spirit! This is our favorite time of year and we hope all of our families have a wonderful Thanksgiving and joyful start to the Christmas season!!

To know her is to love her - for 23 years!! Not many people can say they have worked with the same
company that long. She began as a 3’s teacher at Oakbrook in 2000, moved to Prek and then summer camp, and finally moved over to administration at Greenbrier in 2015. Congratulations to Beth Harp for being a part of the Bradley Schools for almost a quarter of a century! We are so thankful for you and we love you!! Here’s to 23 more!! 🎉 🥂
