RJ was diagnosed February this year at 1.5 years old. It was devastating to see
our beloved son hurting and not understanding where it was hurting or how to help him. What appeared to be a flu with joint pains turned into Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). A series of tests confirmed the suspicions of his doctors and he was admitted into the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) right away for 3 weeks. After his first 3 weeks of intensive chemotherapy, RJ's leukemia was in remission. He is now 2 years old and undergoes routine therapy to eradicate any trace amounts that are left in his blood cells. As parents, we can only wish we were the ones that were in his pain and could undergo his treatments for him. However, RJ has shown to be a resilient child and "the happiest patient" according to his care team! RJ IS OUR HERO!!!...and our TEAM RJ is dedicated to continue fighting for children just like him!!! PLEASE HELP US TO REACH OUR ANNUAL TEAM GOAL!!! JOIN US!!!
