Good morning everyone! 🤍

I apologize for the recent pause in our daily devotionals. I recently lost one of my best friends in the whole world. His name was Jimmy Lopez and he was murdered by Hemet Police Department.

Since then I have been standing alongside his family as we fight for justice.

That leads us to today's devotional...

Subject: Let There Be Justice

"But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!"

Amos 5:24

Reflection:

Ladies of Heels and Halos, today we reflect on the powerful words of Amos 5:24. In a world where injustice and unrighteousness often seem overwhelming, this verse calls us to envision a different reality—one where justice flows continuously, refreshing and cleansing our communities, much like a mighty river.

As women striving to embody both strength and grace, we are uniquely positioned to champion justice and righteousness. This verse encourages us not to be passive in the face of wrongdoing but to be active participants in creating a world where fairness and goodness prevail. Just as a river shapes the landscape it traverses, our consistent actions and unwavering commitment to justice can transform the environment around us.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts open to Your word. Help us to embody the justice and righteousness You desire. Give us the strength to stand up against injustice and the wisdom to act righteously in all circumstances. May our actions be like a never-failing stream, continuously bringing Your love and fairness into the world. Guide us as we strive to be beacons of hope and change within our community and beyond. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Action Step:

Today, let's take a moment to identify an area in our community where we can make a difference. Whether it's supporting a local cause, advocating for someone's rights, or simply showing kindness and fairness in our daily interactions, let's commit to being agents of justice and righteousness. Together, we can let justice roll on like a river, impacting our world for the better.

Closing Thought:

Remember, ladies, that each of us has the power to influence change. As we walk in our heels and embrace our halos, let us do so with a steadfast commitment to justice and righteousness. Let these values guide us in every step we take.

I hope yall have a blessed Monday.

Good afternoon,

I apologize for the late devotional today. We had a very heavy and hard night in our household last night and if yall wouldn't mind praying for our peace and protection, I would greatly appreciate that.

I did want to ensure I delivered the good word to yall today in spite of that. Plus Scripture always heals me in the sore spots.

That being said, let's get into our Thursday devotional.

Devotional: The Promises of the Great "I AM".

Scripture:

"But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the Lord had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens."

1 Chronicles 27:23 KJV

Reflection:

This verse in Chronicles displays King David's unwavering faith and trust in the Lord. In Genesis 15:5, God promises Abraham to make the seed of Israel as numerous as the stars in the sky.

"And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be."

David chose to believe that God would fulfill his promise and so, though logic would have told him to include folks under 20 for military service, he chose faith in God over his own understanding.

David’s decision reflects the powerful principle that trusting in God’s promises means letting go of our need to control and quantify every aspect of our lives. It means believing that God’s word is true and that He is faithful to fulfill what He has spoken, even when we may not see or comprehend the full picture.

Application:

1. Rely on the God's Word and Promise

Reflect on the promises God has made in His Word. Are there areas in your life where you need to trust Him more? Just as David relied on God’s promise to multiply Israel, we too can trust in the assurances found in Scripture.

2. Faith Over Fear and Understanding

Often, our human nature drives us to measure, count, and ensure everything is within our control. Yet, faith sometimes needs us to take a step back and trust that God is going to work everything out for our highest good. Think about places in your life where you may be over relying on your understanding instead of leaning on God’s word and wisdom.

3. God is Faithful

Remember the times God has been faithful in your life and in the lives of others around you. Let these testimonies build your faith. God’s track record of faithfulness provides a solid foundation for trust in His future promises.

Prayer:

God, thank you for your promises, your faithfulness to the righteous, and the fulfillment of those promises. Thank you for blessing us with the Holy Word that guides and assures us that you will be with us in our time of need and that you will not allow the righteous to fall. Thank you for all you do for us Lord and for constantly extending to us your grace and glory. Help us to continue to stand strong and become stronger in our faith each passing moment and to never believe the lies of the enemy. Help us to continue to trust in you Lord and know that you have a way even if we may not see it yet. In the name of Christ Jesus of Nazareth, Amen. 🤍🙏✨️

Conclusion:

1 Chronicles 27:23 is a reminds us that trusting God means believing in His promises, even when we can't see immediate evidence. It encourages us to let go of our need for control and instead, lean into God’s faithful and unchanging nature. As we navigate our daily lives, let’s hold fast to His promises, knowing that He is always working for our good and His glory.

I would like to talk about a miracle I saw God recently perform. Meet Greyson and his Daddy, Dustin. When I came across Dustin's profile just a few weeks ago, Greyson was in the hospital suffering from Leukemia and was in bad shape. He was having to endure procedures, transfusions, chemo, infections, and skin lessions all while having to fight cancer. He had been in the hospital for much longer than any child should ever have to experience.

But Dustin's faith was unwavering. He kept praying, asking for prayers for his son, and we kept praying for them. God performed a miracle in, through, and for Greyson and showed what a powerful, miraculous, merciful, and Almighty God he truly is. ✝️🙏🤍

Greyson's fevers, skin lesions, and fungal infections vanished. The nodules in his chest disappeared, and he beat cancer. You can't tell me that isn't the work of God.✝️🙏🤍

Thank you God for answering our prayers and performing this wonderful miracle for and through Greyson and his daddy. Thank you Jesus for laying your healing hands on Greyson and for ridding his body of its ailments and illnesses. Please continue to keep your healing hand on Greyson and protect him and his Daddy Lord. Thank you for continuing to perform these divine works for all of us to see your glory and presence God. You are mighty and we are so thankful to you Lord. In Jesus name we pray, Amen. 🙏✝️🤍

Good morning everyone.

I pray you all are having a blessed week so far.

This morning we are going to be going over Psalm 5:10-12. The Psalm of David.

Title: God's Divine Guidance and Protection

Scripture:

"Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee. But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield."

Psalm 5:10-12 (KJV)

Devotional:

In these verses in the Psalm of David, David is crying out to God and asking him for guidance and protection. He is praying that the Lord remove those who have been wicked, unkind, sinful, and to hold them accountable for their immoral behavior. He goes on to request that those who live their life according to the will of God be blessed, joyful, and protected.

This passage highlights the postulate that everyone will eventually be judged by God and render his will accordingly. It shows the blatant contrast between those who will be persecuted for their wickedness and those who have divine assurance because of their righteousness.

Reflection:

These verses encourage us to call out to God in times of trouble and ask him to remove those who are unkind, deceitful, and living immorally from our presence and to hold them accountable for their wrong doings. It encourages us to pray for those who are living righteously and ask that they be blessed. It also indicates that we should live our lives in a way that honors God, thus inviting His protection and favor.

Prayer:

God please hear our cry. We ask that you remove those who are malicious and with wicked hearts from our presence Lord and hold them accountable for their wrong doings. We ask that you replace them with folks who are upright with hearts full of righteousness and love for you God. We ask that you bless those who are living in a way that honors You, and fill their hearts, spirits, and homes with joy and assurance of your protection. Please help us to live our lives according to your will God. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏

Action Point:

Today, take a moment to reaffirm your trust in God’s protection and guidance. Identify any areas of your life where you may be relying on your own strength rather than seeking His counsel. Choose to place your full confidence in God, rejoicing in His promise to defend and bless you.

Have a blessed and joy-filled Wednesday everyone.

Good morning everyone.

I noticed that no one seems to be taking to the structure of devotional we have been doing lately with the reflection questions, so I thought I would switch it up a bit. Please let me know what you think or which style of devotional you prefer in the comments.

This morning I asked God to reveal to me the message he'd like me to share with you all. Originally I had opened my Bible to Isaiah 29:13.

"The Lord says: 'These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught."

But then I sat the Bible on the bed for a moment and when I came back it had flipped to Isaiah 14:31, so I took that to be a sign.

I had to research this message, and had to ponder on why it was God wanted me to share it with you all. I almost didn't, but who am I to deny the will of God.

With that being said, let's get into our Tuesday morning devotional. 🌄

Title: Facing the North Wind

Scripture:

"Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times."

Isaiah 14:31 (KJV)

Devotional:

In this verse, the prophet Isaiah delivers a sobering message to the Philistines, forewarning them of an impending calamity. The imagery of gates howling and cities crying evokes a sense of inevitable destruction and profound distress. The phrase "thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved" signifies the complete unraveling of their society. This is not just a military threat; it is a divine proclamation of judgment.

The "smoke from the north" symbolizes an approaching force that is well-organized and relentless. The mention that "none shall be alone in his appointed times" suggests that this invasion is divinely ordained and meticulously executed, leaving no room for escape or survival outside of God's plan.

Reflection:

As we ponder this passage, it’s essential to recognize the broader spiritual implications. This verse reminds us of the certainty of God’s judgments and the importance of aligning ourselves with His will. Just as the Philistines faced the consequences of their actions, we too must consider how our lives reflect our commitment to God.

Are there areas in our lives where we have become complacent, ignoring the warnings and promptings of the Holy Spirit? Are we prepared to face the challenges and trials that come our way, trusting in God’s sovereignty and justice?

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge Your supreme authority over all nations and peoples. Help us to heed Your warnings and align our lives with Your will. Give us the strength to face the trials ahead with faith and trust in Your divine plan. May we seek refuge in Your grace and live in a way that honors You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Action Point:

Today, take a moment to reflect on any areas in your life where you might be ignoring God's guidance. Seek His wisdom and make a commitment to realign your actions with His will. Trust in His timing and sovereignty, knowing that He holds the ultimate plan for your life.

I hope this devotional brings you encouragement and reflection. Have a blessed Tuesday everyone.

Good morning everyone. ❤️

I'm back with our devotionals again today! I apologize for slacking on them for the last week and half. I have been moving all over the metro area here in Colorado, planning and hosting birthday parties, fathers day, and a girls brunch last weekend, and things have been pretty hectic.

However there's no excuse for not prioritizing God more and ensuring you all receive the good word so for that I sincerely apologize.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and a beautiful and blessed Father's day with the special dads in your lives.

Without further ado let's get into this morning's devotional.....

"Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD."

Leviticus 19:18 (NIV)

Reflection:

This verse from Leviticus reminds us that in life people will trespass against us, disappoint us, anger us, just as we have done in front of God when we sin, but it's important to live in the spirit of love, grace, and forgiveness and to let go of anger, hurt, resentment, and disappointment in order to honor the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus of Nazareth, by forgiving and loving others, the way he loved and forgave us. There is no better way to honor both yourself and Jesus than by forgiving, letting things go, and loving people despite their side steps.

Sometimes it may be best to love and forgive silently and from a distance and to stay away from people who may cause you pain especially intentionally, but at the end of the day for Lord's peace and yours, forgiveness, love, and grace are the best option. In a world that can be so thankless and unforgiving, be sure not to rob yourself or others of the light of God and the lightness of Jesus. Allow yourself the blessing of peace.

Reflection Questions:

1. Is there anyone you resent or any resentment you're holding onto right now that you'd like to let go of?

2. How can you show more love to those around you every day?

3. In what ways can you practice forgiving those who have wronged you?

Prayer:

Lord Jesus help us to be more like you. Please enter our hearts and evict the spirits of resentment, anger, and disappointment, and replace them with feelings of compassion, grace, mercy, forgiveness, and love. Help us to forgive the folks we have the hardest time forgiving because of the love of God thats within us. Please help us to forgive what may seem "unforgivable" and remember the sacrifice of Jesus. Please relieve of us of the heaviness we feel and to let go of the need to obtain the well deserved apologies we have and may never get. God Help us to let go of all of the dead weight that plagues our hearts and anchors us to our pain so that we can be full of your light and display your love for your children through ourselves. Let us never forget in the midst of chaos to take a moment to focus, recollect, and remember the sacrifice of Jesus. In Jesus and God's mighty and precious names we pray, Amen.

Closing Thought:

I pray we are all able to continue forth with our day with a new feeling of lightness or at the very least some perspective and a plan on how we might go about forgiving and letting go and instead living in love and the lightness of the Lord. Let the chains be broken.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good morning everyone.🌸

Blessed morning to you all, and I hope everyone is doing well on this brand new Monday morning.✨️

I have some important news! I have updated the competition details and upgraded prizes to boost engagement, so stay tuned for the details on that.🌸

Today's devotional is going to be called...

"Redemption in Christ"

Scripture:

"But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."

Romans 3:21-24 🌸

Devotional:

In Romans 3:21-24 Paul explains that God's word and the law are two separate things. God is righteousness and righteousness comes from God who has given redemption to all of us who have sinned, through his son Christ Jesus. Those who believe, accept, and have faith in him will be saved through his great and loving sacrifice.

It's a powerful message that reminds us that sin is of the flesh and that God loves and forgives us regardless of the side steps we make. However, as we have seen in our previous devotional, this doesn't give you an excuse to sin as you please.

You must have conviction and make each decision as in line with holiness as possible. God's voice should be the one you lean on. Other thoughts may come but holiness should have the last word. Of course, we will all come up short here and again because we are but flesh, but the goal is to live as much like Jesus as we can in order to honor the blood he shed so our debt of sin could be paid.

After all it's only because of him and the love of God that we are able to have redemption and everlasting life.

Reflection Questions:

1. Is there anything you feel that you currently need to repent and ask forgiveness for?

2. How can you improve your life and ways in order to honor the redemption and sacrifice of Jesus?

3. In what ways do you believe God has recently forgiven you?

4. Is there someone you haven't forgiven, but feel you need to forgive?

Closing Prayer:

Our wonderful and forgiving Heavenly Father, thank you for your righteousness and forgiveness. We are forever grateful for the sacrifice and love of your one and only Son, Christ Jesus. Guide us to go about our daily lives honoring your grace and glory, and to hear your voice louder than anything else. Help us to never leave the gift of redemption un-honored or unappreciated, and to display the love of Jesus through ourselves by extending that same forgiveness to others. In Jesus' Precious Name we pray, Amen.🙏🌸✨️

I hope you all have an amazing day! See you this evening with our PM devotional.🌸

Good evening ladies.😇

Let's get into this evening's devotional.

Faithfulness and Encouragement

Scripture:

"I am writing this not to shame you but to warn you as my dear children. Even if you had ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. Therefore I urge you to imitate me. For this reason I have sent to you Timothy, my son whom I love, who is faithful in the Lord. He will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus, which agrees with what I teach everywhere in every church. Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you. But I will come to you very soon, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only how these arrogant people are talking, but what power they have. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. What do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a rod of discipline, or shall I come in love and with a gentle spirit?" ✝️

1 Corinthians 4:14-21 (NIV)

Devotional:

1 Corinthians 4:14-21 speaks to the heart of pastoral care and the importance of living a life that reflects the teachings of Christ. Paul addresses the Corinthians with a mixture of love, encouragement, and correction, emphasizing the need for humility and faithful living. ✝️

In this passage, Paul reminds the Corinthians of his role as a spiritual father and urges them to imitate his way of life in Christ. He highlights the faithfulness of Timothy, who exemplifies the teachings and lifestyle that Paul advocates. This passage underscores the importance of spiritual mentorship and the need for leaders who model Christ-like behavior. ✝️

Understanding the importance of faithful living and spiritual mentorship transforms our approach to discipleship and community. It reminds us that our actions and attitudes should align with the teachings of Christ, and that we should seek to encourage and guide others in their spiritual journeys. ✝️

As we reflect on this passage, we are called to respond with humility and intentionality. This means striving to live a life that reflects Christ's teachings, seeking mentorship, and being willing to mentor others. The more we embody these principles, the stronger our communities will be in faith and unity. ✝️

Reflection Questions:

1. How does understanding the importance of faithful living influence your daily actions and relationships?

2. In what ways can you seek or provide spiritual mentorship within your community?

3. What specific actions can you take to live a life that reflects Christ’s teachings, as described in 1 Corinthians 4?

Closing Prayer:

Dear Lord, thank You for the guidance and mentorship You provide through Your Word and through spiritual leaders. Help us to live faithfully according to Your teachings and to encourage others in their spiritual journeys. Teach us to be humble and intentional in our actions, reflecting Your love and grace. Strengthen our relationships and deepen our commitment to living as You have called us to. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen. ✝️

Group Activity:

Take a few moments to write down ways in which you have experienced or provided spiritual mentorship in your life. Share these experiences with the group and discuss how they have impacted your faith and relationships. Conclude by praying for one another, asking God to help each person live faithfully and to support each other in their spiritual journeys.

Thank you all. I hope you have a blessed and faith-filled week. ✝️

Good morning everyone.💜✨️

Blessed Sunday! I hope you all are able to catch a service today, and go into the coming week feeling blessed and empowered.💜✨️

Without further ado let's get into this morning's devotional. 💜✨️

The Power of Love 💜✨️

Scripture:

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." ✝️💜

1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)

Devotional:

1 Corinthians 13 is often referred to as the "Love Chapter" because it beautifully describes the essence and importance of love. This chapter teaches us that love is the greatest virtue and should be the foundation of all our actions and relationships. One of the most significant themes in this passage is the enduring power of love. ✝️💜✨️

In 1 Corinthians 13:13, we are reminded that among faith, hope, and love, the greatest of these is love. This verse emphasizes that love surpasses all other virtues and remains eternal. It is a powerful reminder that love should be the guiding principle in our lives, influencing how we interact with others and how we live out our faith. ✝️💜✨️

Understanding the power of love transforms our approach to relationships and our daily actions. It reminds us that genuine love is patient, kind, and selfless. This divine love, which reflects God's own love for us, is the most powerful force for good and unity in our lives. 💜✨️✝️

As we reflect on the power of love, we are called to respond with intentionality and compassion. This means practicing love in our interactions, being patient and kind, and prioritizing the well-being of others. The more we embody this love, the more we reflect the heart of Christ to the world. 💜✨️🙌

Reflection Questions:

1. How does understanding the power of love influence your interactions with others?

2. In what ways can you demonstrate genuine love in your daily life?

3. What specific actions can you take to prioritize love as described in 1 Corinthians 13?

Closing Prayer:

Dear Lord, thank You for showing us the true power of love. Help us to embody this love in our daily lives, reflecting Your compassion and kindness. Teach us to prioritize love in all our interactions and to live in a way that honors You. Strengthen our relationships and deepen our commitment to loving others as You have loved us. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen. 🙏💜✨️

Group Activity:

Take a few moments to write down ways in which you have experienced or demonstrated genuine love in your life. Share these experiences with the group and discuss how they have impacted your faith and relationships. Conclude by praying for one another, asking God to help each person prioritize love and reflect His love in their daily lives.

Thank you all. I hope you have a blessed and love-filled Sunday. 💜✨️
