A BANQUET, (*2009), a three-member Prague band playing their own style called “FUTU-ROLL“ (a mixture of 80s synthpop, 90s altrock, grunge and contemporary electro genres), released their debut album “BREATH“ in April 2012. It was recorded partly in Chicago with Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies) and partly in Prague with Boris Carloff (Kryštof, Sunshine). Redactors of MF Dnes (the largest Czech daily
newspaper), MusicServer.cz, iReport.cz and many others designated the band as one of the greatest recent newcomers. Also the online portal Bandzone.cz (the largest online portal for bands in CZ & SK) assigned A Banquet as a newcomer; Indiemusic.cz designated the band as a Newcomer of the Year 2010 and guys didn't miss a nomination for the Newcomer of the year in the Žebřík 2011 poll either. Currently A Banquet are considered one of the most talented and hard-working young bands in the Czech republic, that has a potential to succeed abroad. We thank our partners:
