For Felix is back with the new single “What We’re After” after 15 years of silence.

“What We’re After” features one of the last recordings of late drummer Patrick Jolkovski. All proceeds from the release will go directly to a college fund for his two daughters.

A demo version of this song appeared as a bonus track on the 2006 For Felix self-titled album which was only released in Japan. Dan and Whit came together to finally put the finishing touches on this song in an effort to help Patrick’s musical legacy live on.

Last week we had to say goodbye to a member of the For Felix family. The world lost a great talent, friend, father, brother, son and so much more. Patrick brought a smile to the face of everyone he crossed paths with and the outpouring of love for him has shown that his memory will undoubtedly live on. Our hearts are heavy, and our thoughts are with his family and friends in this difficult time.
