Knowing how to find it, may be quite another! If you are used to drinking California wines, for example, perhaps you aren't sure what wines are most similar here in France. I have some basic (and more advanced) tasting seminars along with a gourmet dinatoire, that will give you an overview into the world of French wines, and give you the confidence to order or purchase wines you like, and to know

Hello friends, I am starting a new wine tasting dinner and seminar that teaches about french wines (what grows where) and how to pair wine with food, over a four course gourmet dinner at the Melia Hotel Champs Elysee on Avenue Victor Hugo. Typically this dinner and wine seminar will be offered to travelers, but I am offering this to the expat and business communities at a discounted price to help me with a run through, to make sure I have all my bases covered, at a discounted price of 95Epp on April 12. The sparkling rose is a Vin Mousseux bottled in Landiras France, and the Bordeaux from Chateau La Barde 2019 is a Gold Medal from the Concours International de Lyon. Both are budget friendly with good reviews! I’ll let you know what I think next week!

How do you feel about eating past dated canned foods?
Is it safe to eat canned food past its best-before date? Fall means food drives and festive dinners, but if those forgotten cans of beans or cranberry sauce in the cupboard are years past their best-before dates, is it still safe to use them?

This sweet wine - a 2019 Gaillac from is the perfect match with chocolate veined foie gras, confited onions and rose jam. Note the grapes used for this wine. Do you know the grape variety of Len de l'ehl?
A micro-throwback to New Years Breakfast!
Baked eggs with spinach, mushrooms, lardons, onions and a cheesy tomato sauce in a filo dough cup, along side caramel apples, bacon and little toasts.
Bringing it in right!! With champagne, of course!

My smoked salmon hors d’œuvres for yesterday’s Christmas dinner. The bottom is a layer of tzikiki and on top of that is a layer of cucumber, seasoned with dill and chives. Then the salmon is dressed with basil oil, pepper and fresh lemon juice. Finally it’s garnished with cucumber, red onion and radish with lemon juice, chives, and dill.
This is perfectly paired with a delightful bottle of champagne!
The entire meal was exquisite as well as the company 🤍
