Congratulations to our newest EMTs! The program wasn’t easy, but with a team of dedicated professionals teaching, guiding and mentoring you, and with the support from your families, employers and each other, you persevered and you earned it! Thank you for your dedication, drive, and sacrifice. May Itom Achai bless you on your healing journey.

The Yaqui Education Services Program and Itom Yomeia present, “Oh The Places You Can Go”. A four-day winter break program beginning December 27th -28th and again on January 3rd – 4th from 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM held at Itom Mahatwa’apo building. Day one will provide important advice and information on self-care and mental health. After Lunch guidance in career exploration will be given to students provided by Pascua Yaqui Tribes Human Recourses department. Students will learn what it means to have a job versus a career. Day two student will move up and about, from department to department on a tribal-wide scavenger hunt learning about resources and service providers offered to them. On the third day, students will reflect on events that took place during the Maso Kova massacre, and reflect on “What does Yaqui Strong Mean to me?” Then, finally, on day four students will conclude with a social outing to Harkins Theater and lunch at Dave & Busters. The Yaqui Education Services and U of A Poetry Center present: Writing the Community. Students will learn how fun and magical poetry is, programing is open to all K-5th grade Yaqui students. Good afternoon PYT students and families. We have launched a new APP that allows our team to send you real time messages via text (for now). We will use our text messages to send out information on programs we offer, upcoming events and other relevant opportunities for you and your family.

The Higher Education department will be at South Mountain Community College (Phoenix and Guadalupe Campuses) and Mesa Community College to check in on students!

If you are a SMCC or MCC student stop on by and visit your EAS and receive a small gift.

To receive your gift, simply stop by our table and complete a short survey. Details have been sent via your email address we have on file.

This is a new program we have started this year to bring our information and team to you. We will visit all Arizona campuses during the Fall and Spring semesters.

To be eligible, make sure we have an updated email address and phone number. We will announce each “surprise” visit using your contact information.
