It's time to take action! 🌊
Did you know that over 2 billion people worldwide lack proper trash collection? As a result, waste often ends up in rivers, landfills, and eventually the ocean. Many scientists predict that by 2050, there will be more plastic (by weight) than fish in the sea. Needless to say, it’s time to take action, and that's why we started working with CleanHub last year.

Since this fall, we have enabled CleanHub facilities to collect 7 829 kg of plastic waste, with a goal to collect 10 584 kg before September.

Fårö, an island just north of Gotland in the Baltic Sea. An island off an island, 20 km across, with 500 permanent citizens. Packed with tourists during the summers. Empty as a keg of beer after Oktoberfest for the rest of the year.

Vi har den stora äran att bjuda in dig till Zita Folkets Bio den 5 juni för premiären av Crappy waves. Happy days. En minidokumentär och porträtt av Peter Sjöholm. Även kallad Frontside-Peter sedan han drev surfbutiken Frontside i Stockholm på 90-talet. Peter är en svensk surfpionjär i allmänhet och för Gotland och Fårö i synnerhet. Det här är ett porträtt som speglar kärleken till ön utanför ön, hur surfingen kan påverka och forma ett liv och en vardag långt bort från Stockholm.

Bakom kameran står Jonathan Lomar, som tidigare gjort dokumentären om Oski och nu senast Automobilen.

Filmen börjar 21.00 och vi är där från 20.00 och bjuder på öl, så kom i tid.

Music tip!

Stockholm locals Stephen’s Shore is a band that shares a love for skateboarding, moody pop songs, and jangly guitars.
They have been making music together for a few years and have released records on the Spanish indie-pop label Meritorio Records.
This spring, on May 10th, they will release a new EP called ”Neptune”.

Since their favorite record store in Stockholm is Pet Sounds, we asked the guys in the band to pick their current favorite records from Pet Sounds!

The sunglasses Siljan, named after Lake Siljan in Dalarna in central Sweden, It was in Dalarna where Gustav Vasa began his journey to kick out the Danes. Maybe he took a swim in Siljan just before. Frames come in black or mustard color and are made from recycled plastic.
