I attended the Martindale Brightwood Quality of Life Plan Community Implementation Town Hall, CAFE's Far Eastside Festival, and God's Grace Community Church's Community Day. It was great to see members of the community and hear your ideas and concerns at the state level. I look forward to continuing our work together and making a positive impact in our community!

The Indiana Department of Education is taking public comment on the new proposed diploma changes. These changes include new paths to graduate and different requirements needed to fulfill a high school degree. I encourage all teachers, parents, students, and stakeholders to submit feedback by July 30th.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of celebrating education in Indianapolis! The day began with my attendance at Purdue University's Inaugural Indianapolis Campus Event. I am excited about the many opportunities Purdue will bring to our city to bolster the economy. In the evening, I was honored to serve as the Keynote Speaker at the Excel Center's graduation ceremony. This year, 60 graduates from across Indianapolis earned their high school diplomas. Their dedication and passion are truly inspiring. You can see them tonight, as well, for their second ceremony of graduates. Congratulations, Class of 2024!
