I met an Irishman on holidays in Tam Cốc in my textile workshop at Minhtrang Handmade.
He said: "I can rarely find pouches for men, although we also need storage for our bits and pieces." Taking this as a challenge, I selected scraps, colour samples of tweed, I foraged in the North Western county Donegal in Ireland about 30 years ago, as a lining scraps from a faded checkered flannel shirt and I stitched his name, which happens to be " kindness", onto the front of a pouch, which I gifted him before he left.
This gave me the idea to design a series of pouches with a meaning.

some years ago I found a bunch of lanyards at a flea market in Germany and bought them without specific purpose at the time.
Now they became a second life assembled and turned into sturdy fabric for unicate toiletry bags, lined with parachute nylon, with a masculine touch especially for boys and men.
