Rode Friday with a good friend of mine. We were out for about 4 hours, I’m sore but it was 100% worth it! Got to practice my cantering (I’ve been bouncy and it’s been hard to stay in my seat lately especially with Chance’s big stride.) I’ve already gotten a good amount of strength back which I’m way proud of I just need the time to practice.
Do any of you know good exercises to help my seat while on a quite bouncy lope?

Had a great time doing some groundwork with Chance today. Well, after finding a non-flooded and available round pen. He was being such a good boy though!

Looking for riding lessons? We will be giving some in South Jordan for $30/hr! Both beginner and intermediate riders can learn either English or western or both. They or you can learn how to do ground work and how to take care of a horse. Let anyone know who is interested!

With summer underway, be sure to keep your horses hydrated before, during, and after exercise! To promote drinking in your horse, put a salt block in your horses stall or pasture. It helps them get much needed electrolytes and minerals that are essential for a healthy diet!
