COURTESY CALL TO HONORABLE CONGRESSWOMAN BERNADETTE “DETTE” ESCUDERO

The Sorsogon City District Jail, under the leadership of our Acting Warden J/CINSP LOUIE ANGELO C UNGRIA and Deputy Warden J/INSP AMPON G GESTRE together with three SCDJ Personnel, conducted a courtesy visit to HONORABLE CONGRESSWOMAN BERNADETTE “DETTE” ESCUDERO.

The purpose of the visit is to give gratitude to the good congresswoman for her constant assistance to BJMP Sorsogon and at the same time, seek support for the passing of Senate Bill 1101. The said bill focuses on upgrading the rank classification structure of the Uniformed Members of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). It seeks to amend specific provisions of RA No. 6975, as amended by RA No. 8551 and RA 9263, and addresses various matters related to jail administration and operations, as well as fostering collaborations between the jail and legislative authorities.

DONATION FROM GUBAT SAINT ANTHONY COOPERATIVE

The Sorsogon City District Jail headed by our Acting Warden J/CINSP LOUIE ANGELO C UNGRIA received a donation from Gubat Saint Anthony Cooperative that includes fifty (50) pcs of Monoblock chairs which will be used by the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) on their various jail activities.

The jail unit expresses its gratitude towards the continued support and donation by the said cooperative.

JAIL VISIT AND FOOD DONATION BY HON. GOV. EDWIN BOBOY HAMOR AND HON. MAYOR MA. ESTER E HAMOR

The Sorsogon City District Jail headed by our Acting Warden J/CINSP LOUIE ANGELO C UNGRIA received a food donation from HON. GOV. EDWIN BOBOY HAMOR AND HON. MAYOR MA. ESTER E HAMOR as part of the generous gift giving of the City Mayor's Birthday Celebration. which will benefit the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) of the jail unit.

The jail unit expresses its gratitude towards the continued support and donation by the provincial and city government of Sorsogon.
