Heyyyyy... So I haven't posted in a while, but camping season waits for NO slacker!
Neither do the bugs that join us while we camp... 🐛
In preparation for camping, I've been researching natural bug spray recipes and I found one that doesn't have any shady, harmful chemicals and it SMELLS AMAZING! It ends up being super cheap in cost, as well, as it's made from concentrated ingredients. I'm using all Melaleuca products here, which are all natural products I use for many, many things in daily life. So I don't have to buy a bunch of expensive essential oils that I only use for aromatherapy or... Bug spray.

Here's the bug spray recipe:
🌺 1/4c Sol-u-mel
🌸 5 drops of T36-C5 (tea tree oil)
🌷 1tsp Tough & Tender
🌻 14oz water

I haven't tried it out yet, so stay tuned for my review.

I am KNOWN, nay, INFAMOUS, for eating weird things. It's because I'm creative and I have a love for all things health-promoting.
Well, I done did it again. But this weirdness is something you might thank me for!
Are you doing the paleo thing, maybe gluten free thing, and miss your hot cereal? Yearning for PUMKIN PIE flavors in your life as the weather gets colder? Try this!
Grab a bag of riced butternut squash and throw it in the microwave as directed. Meanwhile, mix 1c unsweetened almond milk with 1 scoop vanilla Keto collagen (or favorite vanilla protein shake) and maybe 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice in a shaker cup til blended. Dump the riced squash in a bowl and pour your mixture on it. Microwave maybe 1 more minute and sprinkle more pumpkin spice to taste!
FALL BREAKFAST YUMMALICIOUSNESS!
*note for the keto freaks like me, one serving has 11 net carbs and a good amount of protein (depending on what you used), so this is a perfect before workout meal.

I love diffusing lemon and eucalyptus in the mornings! I am new to aromatherapy, but this is one combo I know that is effective for helping us have energizing and low-stress mornings. It does seem to help.
