Graag stellen wij onze dagvoorzitter aan u voor:
Mijn naam is Reinard Everts, practicus in Zuid-Oost Drenthe als melkvee en kleine herkauwer dierenarts. Daarnaast ben ik directeur van de NSFO en werkzaam bij de faculteit Diergeneeskunde. Als herkauwerdierenarts staan we in de frontlinie van de transitie in de landbouw. Hoe dit er ook precies uit gaat zien: goede landbouwpraktijken worden steeds kennisintensiever.
Ik kijk dan ook enorm uit naar het congres. Niet alleen omdat het ingaat op de kansen en risico’s van minder eiwit voeren aan onze koeien, maar ook omdat er veel aandacht is voor de relatie tussen het rantsoen en het effect daarvan op het immuunsysteem. Allemaal kennis waar we onze veehouders direct mee kunnen ondersteunen!
