Labor Day is an annual celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers.
Let’s CELEBRATE! Our first 2 weeks of opening has now completed 305 spay and neuters for our communities! Another 400 have been scheduled! Lots of LABOR of love went into our opening of the clinic and we give thanks to so many.
Dr Kluska and her staff have been working long hours to complete the high demand of services. Dr Jessica Giddens and Dr Ashley Ross , with their staff, were called in as visiting vets to help in the initial endeavors.
Special thanks to Susan Carelock for her generous donation to ARF and WAGS Rescue , in memory of Kenny Carelock,to launch the beginning of a campaign to s/ n residents of Wayne County.
Special thanks to the following rescues for not only supporting our new clinic, but their generous offers for free Spay neuters for their communities, which have all been booked. In an effort to prevent unwanted litters of puppies and kittens, let’s thank these rescue:

Please bring your animals inside!
If you find a stray, please give it shelter from the storm and report it Thursday as the officers are closed for the storm.
We all have to do our part and a select few of us in rescue, are hunkered down with dozens. We cannot help so please, do your part.
Be safe and protect those who cannot help themselves.

Our Story

W.A.G.S. Rescue, Inc (Wayne and Glynn and Surroundings Rescue, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in May 2017. As we have from our very beginnings, we serve the Jesup/Wayne County, Brunswick/Glynn County, and surrounding counties. Where there is a need we strive to help. We work with fosters, volunteers, and other rescues in our entire region to give voice to the voiceless.

We are an in-home, foster-based, all breed dog rescue headquartered in Southern Georgia. Our approved fosters and volunteers are from all over the South Coastal Region who have collectively spent many years actively helping in the rescue community. We are a dedicated group who love and value the life of an animal and will strive to help those that are the most in need. WE will be their voice.

The core of our rescue group is the loving foster homes that help us. We could not keep saving lives without your help. Our approved foster families provide the love and care that our W.A.G.S. dogs deserve.
