My “mom tree” as Mariana had cleverly coined.
Our 🎄tree full of ornaments collected over the years of being together (21 years, but who’s really counting?)
some bought as souvenirs from travel, some gifted by friends and family, and some decorated/handmade or picked by our two lovely kids.

For almost two years our dining room has not seen friends. It was reduced to a party of four. In the last two weeks it was expanded to its full capacity and witnessed stories, laughter, and hugs…
(And having extra chairs around was a big help 😉)

It’s late Tuesday evening and thought it’s not too late to join fun with “D” for Dumpster Dive.
Acquiring this MCM dresser by Lane was not really a dumpster dive. It was at a neighbor's driveway ready for the dumpster's pick up. I asked if I can take it. She said yes and asked if I wanted more of her "trash." I gladly dove in for her Lane acclaim side table as well.

Winemaker Donald Hess once said that he only buys paintings that keep him awake at night.
This vintage artwork keeps me awake at night. (And the acquisition of it was quite an adventure) Good thing it’s not hanging in our bedroom… 😅
