Kynnersley Parish Council will hold its Annual Parish Meeting, AGM and Full Council Meeting on Tuesday 28 May, starting at 7pm. Residents welcome.
Doesnโt seem much of a public service. All very confusing and only appears to kick in if you are more that three miles from a bus stop.
Poster on noticeboard seems to explain it and also please see the link:

A quick shoutout to our awesome friends at Redhill Primary for their donation of wellies.
Kynnersley Parish Council is holding a public meeting on Wednesday 13 December to discuss Telford & Wrekinโs Local Plan.
Proposals for Preston, Horton, Wappenshall, Eyton etc. could affect our village.
Come and raise your questions and concerns at the meeting, which starts at 7pm in Kynnersley Village Hall.
Your views will assist the Parish Council with its response to the consultation.
Local Plan Overview of the Local Plan
๐ค Are you interested in having your say about your local area and how itโs managed? Thereโs still time!
Weโre reviewing local Town & Parish Council arrangements, to make sure they still best represent our local communities, and we need to know what you think, through a Community Governance Review.
Community Governance Reviews can consider a range of option including creating, merging, or altering parishes, changing the size of parishes or the number of councillors in them.
Local knowledge is vital for this review so itโs important that you have your say. We welcome feedback from residents or interested organisations who may wish to comment or make alternative proposals.
The review has been extended until Monday 18 December, so you can have your say at: https://orlo.uk/85CKb
๐ก LOCAL PLAN: We want to hear from you on the Telford and Wrekin draft Local Plan ๐ก
CONSULTATION PERIOD EXTENDED: The Telford and Wrekin draft Local Plan consultation period has been extended to 31 January 2024!
The Local Plan is like a roadmap for our borough's future. It affects everything from where new homes are built, protecting our public green space and environment to creating new business and job opportunities.
๐ฌ Your opinion matters, and this is your chance to shape the future of our borough.
๐ Visit https://orlo.uk/4Maic to view the draft plan and share your thoughts, concerns, and ideas here.
Or pop by to one of our DROP-IN EVENTS to discuss the plans with our strategic planning team and site promoters:
- 5 Dec 2023 | 4-7pm | Horsehay Village Hall
- 12 Dec 2023 | 4:30pm - 8pm | St John's Church Hall, Muxton
Please note: feedback can only to be formally registered by making โduly madeโ comment via the consultation portal, any feedback received within the comments section, whilst valuable cannot be considered by law.
Picked this up from another FB page, but affects all of us - Telford and Wrekin draft Local Plan.
Included in the proposed plan is a scheme to build 10 homes at Preston and massive developments right on our doorstep in Muxton.
You can have your say by commenting on the review (www.telfordandwrekinlocalplan.co.uk)
Closing dates for comments 5pm 12th January 2024.
The interactive map under Current Status on the Local Plan website is particularly useful (albeit a little fiddly) and shows the scale of the developments.
