I think there is this idea in medicine that you have to completely disconnect and hide your emotions, but I disagree. Empathy and comfort are sometimes the only thing we have left to offer.

Happy Monday from the CVICU! It was a crazy weekend around here but I love the unpredictability of the ICU, there’s never a dull moment! 👩🏼⚕️🏥 Side note, loving my new FIGS!

To all the women in medicine out there who are convinced you won’t ever find your Prince Charming 🤴🏻...I just want to say that fairy tales do come true!! Thank you for loving me unconditionally, supporting me, dealing with my crazy schedule, and never making me feel guilty for working the long hours that I do. ❤️😘
