Sterling by Branigan
We hammer, forge, solder, and fuse sterling silver sheets and wire to design and create distinctive and eye catching sterling silver jewelry.
Using techniques passed down from generation to generation, this father / daughter team creates beautiful, original handcrafted designs. The originator, Richard, started designing jewelry in the 1970's. In 2001, his daughter, Joyce, began designing and making jewelry. All the jewelry is made by hand, not pre-manufacture, cast, or molded. These jewelry making techniques are being passed from generation to generation. Richard also cuts and polishes stones to be used in the jewelry.
I’ve had people ask for smaller threaders - and here we go! I’m getting some ready for my next show on Sept 7 & 8 at Rockbrook Village Art Fair or they are available by DM. These are all in sterling silver, but on people like them, I’ll make some gold and rose gold earrings.
My next show is coming up soon!!

I just sent some new designs to Bauman's of Mt. Vernon. I’m so appreciative of the nice words and beautiful display! If you're ever in the Mt. Vernon area, be sure to check them out!
A Wild Horse, Turquoise and Malachite. I trend towards the rustic settings but love the eye catching shiny silver around the malachite too. 💚
Love ❤️ ❤️❤️
Chrysoprase is said to balance the mind and bring prosperity and happiness. With that glow, I believe it!
So, last night I did some last minute work before Saturday’s show. This morning I did some more last-minute work. And now this afternoon, I’m doing last last minute work before packing the rest of my bags and heading to Kearney! I’m hoping the temperature there is about 20° cooler than what it is here in Crescent, Iowa!! 😆😂🤣
I just realized I only have four sizes of this ring! I’m headed out to my workroom to make more for Saturday’s 2024 Kearney Art in the Park! They are great thumb and midi rings too!
Some rings just say - ohhh, yeah. Giant turquoise cut and polished by my dad. Setting made by me 😁
A few more stack rings for Saturday’s show! 2024 Kearney Art in the Park
Next show is next Saturday - gotta make some stack rings!
A couple more rings I will have at Kearney Art in the Park Saturday, July 13 (unless they sell first!)
One broken heart - and one successfully soldered heart ring. Sometimes I have to take a break and try again another day.
Perfect for summertime! This larimar pendant will look great with a tan!
This was quite a compliment! It’s pretty cool how my bolo tie spun off the color palette for their wedding! I just love hearing from happy customers!
Saturday, June 1, from 9-4 is my next show at Artists in the Garden hosted by Quirkey Bird Designs! Swipe for details
Next Saturday, June 1, come see me at Artists in the Garden!
If you haven’t shopped the occasional collective in Treynor, you need to! She has some amazing handmade sterling silver jewelry made by moi, and a collection of other locally sourced items! Stop by and check her out
Look what came in the mail today! A chain my dad made - link by link and some turquoise! One stone will be for a ring for me. The other will be to create a piece for sale! Day made!
I still have these two little cuties that I will bring to Springfest at Rockbrook on Saturday.
To say I’ll have a few new pieces at Rockbrook Village Springfest Art & Craft Show next Saturday is an understatement!
My youngest granddaughter, Dottie, is my newest model showing off a bangle bracelet my dad made me when I was her size!! ❤️❤️❤️
I’ve definitely on a ring making kick lately. The labradorite is already on its way to its new owner. I have a Larimar and turquoise ring on my bench that I will be finishing up this week just in time for the May 18 Rockbrook Village show.
What do I do when a person I love has anxiety? Make her a crystal necklace, of course!
Another gorgeous malachite ring. The band has been hammered for texture to catch and reflect the light. This is another one I will have at May 18ths show at Rockbrook Village. If you can’t wait - DM me for more pics and details!
Wild horse ring. Love the natural browns of this stone. Message me for more pics and details!
Just finished up this gorgeous labradorite ring yesterday! Size 8 1/2. I’ll have this at my next show unless it gets snapped up first. My next show is Saturday, May 18, at Rockbrook Village!
