It’s back-to-school szn and I’ve been reflecting on my peers in education - despite being society’s punching bag at times, teachers keep working harder, loving stronger, advocating smarter, and sacrificing more in order to equip and encourage every student to discover and fiercely follow their dreams.

Some of you may/may not know that I recently left my “successful” career in group health insurance after 8 years to become a middle school teacher!

Gift-giving is my love language and growing up, handmade gifts were held in high regard in my family. Sara May’d is a compilation of all of the handmade gifts I’ve made for loved ones over the years and each handmade piece quite literally has a piece of my heart in it.
