先日の打ち合わせ中に、大いにこの魚の話題で盛り上がった写真。ほぼ完成を迎えていたハーモニクス89と共に、雄物川玉川出会いの下流での釣行で出会ったアメマス。数年前のソルストの取材で6/1のサクラマス解禁日に、シーバスを釣りに行っての出来事だったそうです。
「岸際にウェーディングしてアップに投げ高速でトゥイッチしたら前あたりが出て、乗らなかったの大きめに縦シェイクしたらヒットしました。」
とのことですが、工藤氏の地元の友人曰く、そもそもこの川であめます釣る人のほうが珍しいとか。
「東北はいろんな魚がたくさん釣れて、楽しいですね♪」
本人はいたって呑気なのでした。
