20 years ago the world was shaken by the horrific attack on NYC. I can only imagine the pain, suffering and trauma the American people had to experience. Ive re-visited this event via documentaries, movies and even have a newspaper clipping saved till today. And as Ive grew up I’d find myself relearning about this piece of history. And at each different stage of my life, I related to it in a new way. Till today, the scenes never fail to shock me. It’s as if it were from a movie. So surreal.

Here’s to remembering a horrible day, the lives lost and the countless heroes. As wishful as this is, may something like this never happen again.

I challenged myself to push the basic shape of a star a hundred times. Here’s a closer look at some of my favourites.

Do you have a unique method to tackle a similar problem?

Ahh, we all love to reminisce. Sometimes to our own detriment.

As a young kid, the sheer thrill of saving a dollar and hitting the Gachapon machine was unforgettable. As a teenager, the energy &
adrenaline heavy music provided was unparalleled.

So, here it is. I present to you, the bastard child of my fondest memories:

I feel like with social media, especially as creatives, we are constantly placed in vulnerable positions.

“I am not good enough. I can’t achieve that. Everyone is better than me. I don’t deserve to be here.”

We should stop selling ourselves short. Time and again, the action of doing has always trumped moping around and doubting myself.

The real issue is consistency. Let’s keep trying!

Regret is something that is born in our minds and if left unchecked, may slowly consume us.

“Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, undone or forgotten. So take it as a lesson learned and move on.”

It’s been a while. All the responsibilities became an easy excuse to put off that creative idea for another day. Days have turned into weeks. Weeks have turned into months. The reason for my procrastination was not because of my responsibilities. The reason I’ve been away is because of my fear. My fear of failure. Failure to reach the goals I had set for myself. Failure to try again only to be disappointed. It doesn’t matter anymore. The more time I waste overthinking and procrastinating, The more time will take away from me. Time wasted equals regret created.I accept that I will not be able to put out work all the time. But I’d like to challenge myself to never stop trying. I hope this helps someone out there try again.
