MCoE’s brigades put forth their best squads of five Soldiers for this year's
The squads engaged in trials of technical and tactical proficiency, as well as their ability to work as a disciplined and cohesive team, and one team prevailed.

Skill at Arms competition 🪖 Over 42 hours, 14 teams of 10 soldiers were tested on their endurance, strength and skill in military combat scenarios at the Waiouru Military Training Area. Competitors walked close to 40 kilometres carrying 35 kilogram packs to reach the 13 stands which tested the military core skills of ‘shoot, move, communicate and medicate’.
Congratulations to the triumphant Queen Alexandra’s Mounted Rifles team who won the coveted Skill at Arms competition.
