UNC SOM Hematology Oncology Interest Group
The Hematology-Oncology Interest Group is dedicated to providing learning and community service opportunities for medical students interested in the field.
The Hematology Oncology Interest Group (HOIG) at UNC SOM is a resource for medical students to explore and learn about the fields of adult and pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Surgical Oncology.
Today is research day at UNC School of Medicine
Annual Career Panel
Hello MS1s, the time has come for the Hematology-Oncology Interest Group to pick new leaders. We’d like to invite those that are interested to submit a short application at the link below. This was a great low-stress commitment and gave me the opportunity to network and learn about a field that I think is interesting. The budget for the rest of this academic year is about $350, to use as your creative heart desires. If you have questions about what being a leader entails, feel free to reach out to either myself or Ashley Thrower (or catch us after tomorrow’s Hem-Onc Career panel). Thanks!
Hematology-Oncology Interest Group Leader application This form is due November 4th at 5pm. Only current MS1s are eligible to be interest group leaders.
