#18 Persuasion by Jane Austen . I am ashamed to say I had never read this classic. I knew the story because of the film versions I’d seen but as usual found the book to offer so much more. Her writing is dense, but the chapters are short🥰 Reading the story gives you more insight into the measured way people related in that day especially between men and women. Even though one would not likely want to return to that era, there are things we can learn from that time.

This is an incredible book in regards to the pandemic and what happened inside of people. Pulitzer Prize winner 🏆 And it’s #17 for the year… which just so happens to be a magic number in our family? Ask me why?
