This is my very first 7-string composition ever. It is entitled "Effervescence".
I wrote this the very day I received my first 7 -string guitar.

The song features the use of my home-made guitar preamp from my "Purple Head" amp I designed and built for my Lord Amplification initiative.

There's a lot going on in the track which is just over 3 minutes and includes slap bass, metal riffing with pinch harmonics, speed picking, 7 string arpeggios, tapping, two handed arpeggios, and extended chords.

Choosing a song from the Rock Heart album for my live set was very interesting.

The Rock Heart album is full of songs engineered for arena rock inspired by an age of big hair, big riffs, and a larger than life attitude. Every Rock Heart track is deeply enmeshed with that feeling.

I went with Night Rider. It has just the right grind and groove making it the perfect follow up to the opening onslaught of Shadow of the Lord. While also paving the way for the first ballad of the set which is coming up next.

For those who came in late.

Growing up I loved reading books and one character that I particularly enjoyed reading on was The Phantom.

The Phantom was a globally published syndicated story, very popular in India and was also the very first super hero which was illustrated with no pupils. A trend that later was found in characters like Batman and Spiderman.

Sometimes during a jam I get caught up in a deep feeling. A fragment of music echoes forth from the deepest recesses of my soul.

With musical notes like with words, sometimes a few can say so much. And the silences even more.
