Abuela Mami Coffee was developed in early 2018 by brothers Humby and Kiki Valdes. Their family operated a small grocery store in the 70s and 80s and collaborated with local roasters to provide espressos and coffee for commuters and lunch crowds. Just above the store lived Abuela Mami, that’s what the brothers called their grandmother. The strong smell of espresso was everywhere when the brothers would get home from school and run upstairs from the family store. The tradition continues today with providing a roast that is reminiscent of classic coffee from Cuba from the 1940's and 1950's. Their beans are single origin, 100% arabica beans and roasted locally here in Miami, FL. "Miami Twilight" is USDA organic and is sold whole bean for maximum flavor.
