Are you ready to stop dieting, and enjoy the food that you love while still reaching your weight loss goals? Implement these three things: 1.At each meal, check-in with your Hunger and Fullness Scale - practice planning meals when you start to feel hungry and only eating until you feel 80% full (donât eat until stuffed) 2. Create a âPerfect Plateâ - make sure that you have vegetables, protein and complex carbs on each plate. Focus on having more vegetables and quality protein than carbs for each meal. 3. Plan time to eat without distractions - give yourself at least 20-minutes to eat each meal. While eating, donât watch tv or scroll on your phone. Allow yourself 20-minutes with no distractions to allow you to really enjoy your meal and acknowledge when you feel 80% full. While these may seem like small changes, they will have a HUGE impact on allowing you to break free from restrictive dieting! These are three things that I implemented into my own journey and they allowed me to stop restricting the foods that I was eating and truly adjusting my relationship with food which in turn allowed me to reintroduce a lot of the foods that I did not allow myself to eat. The past few years have been hard! Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally! I have decided that 2023 is the year that I get everything thatâs meant for me. Do you feel worthy of love?đ It is so easy for us to tie our worth into the number on the scale and the size of clothes that we wear, but it is in those moments where we donât feel confident that we need to show ourselves the most love. Our health and wellness journey is not a straight line. There will be ups and downs, but showing up in love and confidence make the journey more bearable and a lot easier. It is easy to say youâre eating too much of this or too little of that. Or youâre not working out hard enough or youâre working out too hard, but if you are showing up with a mindset of I am not worthy of good things or I am not worthy of reaching my goal, you wonât be able to truly lean into those changes and REACH that GOAL. You will find ways to self-sabotage because you donât think you are good enough to be who/where you want to be! I get it! I have been there and I had to do the work to shift those thoughts into more positive ones that allowed me to get to where I am now and I fell in love with ME at every stage of that journey and I continue to work on that love of myself daily. Caramel Frappuccinos have been my favorite Starbucks drinks for years! When I decided I wanted to cut down on the amount of sugar I was consuming, I knew I wanted to find an alternative so I found this premiere protein caramel flavored protein drink and started trying to create something that would satisfy my craving for a Frappuccino. I combine a caramel flavored Premiere Protein shake, 1 or 2 shots of espresso, 1tbsp half and half and some ice in a blender and blend until I get a consistency that I like.
