So for the last 10 years of been self employed I have been fully booked every day with all my wonderful clients, varying from cuts to amazing colours and changes, since having to be closed down in 2020 for the pandemic a lot of businesses suffered but luckily I was 1 that stayed open and fortunately got a healthy business back on track, but looking back over the the last 2 years alot of my clients decided to go grey gracefully and I backed them with the idea and they all look amazing after the long old stretch of growing it out, what I have noticed is those colour clients only have cuts now which has now freed me up a fair few hours every 6 weeks, SO….if there is anyone after a new hair dresser for any reason at all, colours and cutting just send me a message and we can have a chat, don’t want to sound big headed but this has been the first time I have been able to advertise this kind of thing in 26 years so once the time has been filled I will be at full capacity again,

This has been for a while, and still is - for many others - our cancellation policy.
Unfortunately due to a high number of last minute cancellations and no shows, this is a last resort.
We understand life happens, we get it. But sadly this is a business and not just a hobby. This is what keeps a warm roof over our heads and food on the table.
This type of last min cancellation doesn’t allow us to fill that gap - therefor taking a loss in wages. The best way to explain it is if 4 people over a month don’t show, that could be anything between £100 and £300 lost revenue.
£300 is a lot of money from a wage that pays the bills on a house, work premises, and putting food on the table. If an employee had their wages docked of £300 because it was quiet, through no fault of their own, they would see it not being fair, and have a harder month ahead. But that is the reality we face. Including no sick pay, no holiday pay etc. Please help us thrive and continue to to be a well established small local business by letting us know if an appointment can’t be made, in good time if possible so that we can try and fill that appointment slot 🙂 thankyou x

We would like to let you know that as of 1 May 24, we are increasing our prices, only by the amount of roughly 5%. Over the last year or two our operating costs have rocketed, from rent to utilities, from colours to products. Unfortunately these things as we know don’t go down in price - only up. We have held off as long as we can, but it’s a decision we’ve had to make so that we can keep running viably as a small business. Thank you for your understanding - Kelly & Debbie x

So sorry to all clients that have had to endure either a change of appointment or a cold hair wash due to having a boiler breakdown, I am trying my best to get it sorted out ASAP, I have been let down today by the gas engineer who was changing a part in it so it would be back to normal tomorrow, hopefully things will get sorted tomorrow and back to normal🙈
