Two people involved in snatching along C5 road were caught by personnel of Sub Station 1 headed by PMAJ JUDGE ROWE DONATO under the leadership of PCOL CHRISTOPHER F OLAZO, Acting Chief of Police last May 25, 2024.

These persons were arrested for violation of PD 1602 (Illegal Gambling-Cara y Cruz), Section 11 of R.A 9165 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunitions Regulations Act).

Report shows that while personnel of Sub-Station 1 of Taguig CPS were conducting beat patrol, they chanced upon the suspects in possession of illegal drugs and fi****ms. Upon lawful apprehension and interrogation, it was found out that the suspects were also responsible for snatching incidents along C5 road victimizing vehicle with open windows getting their cellphones and bags inside then run after.

During the procedural body search incidental to a lawful arrest, confiscated to alias “Jay” was one (1) unit of Cal. 38 Pistol with No Serial Number loaded with three (3) live ammunition placed inside of a black sling bag, and from alias “Mark” was one (1) piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 0.04 grams with SDP Value of PhP272.00. Recovered from the place of arrest were Three (3) pieces of One peso coins used as "flipping coins" and Bet Money amounting to Five Hundred Pesos (PhP500.00) in different denominations.

Seized pieces of evidence will be turned-over to SPD Forensic Unit for Laboratory Examination.

Due to a recent water service disconnection in Barangays Pinagsama and Post Proper Southside, the City of Taguig has started rationing water in the 2 barangays on a regular basis.

Water trucks and fire trucks from the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), along with tankers from neighboring barangays, are facilitating the distribution of water to the residents.

After a number of city-led discussions with key stakeholders, Manila Water has agreed to install individual meters for about 200 households situated near or along the water source by the main road. For its part, BCDA has also agreed to allow meter installations in some inner parts of these barangays.

The City of Taguig hopes these agreements will eventually result in the alleviation of the water disconnection in the 2 barangays.
