Since I have had some "success" getting one of my flute songs, "Baby Steps," on a big Spotify Playlist (456 K all-time spins on Spotify), some of my friends have been asking if I have been getting rich. I do feel very rich that my song has reached nearly half a million people and perhaps brought some them some joy or peace, but this song at around a 1/3 a cent pay per play did not even earn enough money these last 2 months to pay my for my Spotify service.

Those of you who know me as a poet, know I launched a major legacy project this year with publication of my first full-length poetry book, INTO LIGHT. Although am I terribly happy with the print publication, feel it really came out beautiful, and I am glad I spent most of my pandemic down time revising and finding the heart these poems I have written over the last half century or so, there is still a problem.
