$NVDA IS SET TO REPORT Q2 EARNINGS TODAY AT 16:20 ET, AND HERE'S WHAT THE STREET WILL BE WATCHING:

Q2 Estimates:
— EPS: $0.65, up +140% YoY
— Revenue: $28.9B, up +114% YoY

However, the buyside estimates are way higher, expecting revenue in the range of $33-35 billion.

Recent Performance: Over the last 5 quarters, Nvidia has beaten EPS estimates every time, with an average beat of 18%, ranging from 10-32%. The Street's whisper number for revenue is around $30 billion, partly based on Nvidia's track record of beating its own revenue guidance by at least 8% for the past 4 quarters.

Q2 Segment Revenue Estimates:
— Data Center: $25.1B; UP +143% YoY
— Gaming: $2.6B; UP +12% YoY
— Professional Visualization: $0.5B; UP +19% YoY
— Automotive: $0.4B; UP +38% YoY

Q3 Guidance Forecast:
— Sales: $31.7 billion, implying a 72% YoY growth
— EPS: $0.71

Key Focus Areas: The biggest concern and what everyone will be watching closely is the impact of Blackwell GPU delays. The real focus will be on the outlook during the earnings call, particularly when Jensen discusses how long demand might outstrip supply. Last quarter, he mentioned this would continue "well into next year."

There's also a question of whether the expenses associated with Blackwell's re-tape-out (RTO) will impact profits/EPS, which could affect short-term trading.

If Nvidia can provide clarity to ease investor concerns about the GB200 shipment schedules, it could positively impact the stock sentiment for Nvidia and its supply chain over the next three months.

Additionally, Nvidia's options are pricing in a +/- 9.8% move post-Q2 earnings, which equates to about $305 billion — more than the market cap of 95% of S&P 500 stocks.

BREAKING: Kamala Harris has just unveiled an aggressive economic policy agenda. Details:

- $25,000 Subsidy for First-Time Homebuyers:
A federal subsidy of $25,000 for more than 1 million first-time homebuyers to assist with down payments.

- $6,000 Child Tax Credit:
A $6,000 Child Tax Credit for the first year of a baby’s life, in addition to restoring the Biden administration’s Child Tax Credit that expired in 2021, which provided $3,000 per child (up from $2,000).

- Elimination of Medical Debt:
Proposing to cancel medical debt for millions of Americans by using federal funds to buy and forgive outstanding medical debt from healthcare providers.

- Ban on Price Gouging for Groceries and Food:
Introducing the "first-ever" ban on price gouging for groceries and food, including authorizing the Federal Trade Commission to impose fines on grocery stores that engage in excessive price hikes.

- Cap on Prescription Drug Costs:
Expanding on provisions from the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, Harris proposes capping out-of-pocket spending on prescription drugs at $2,000 annually for all Americans, extending beyond just Medicare beneficiaries.

- Earned Income Tax Credit Expansion:
Expanding the Earned Income Tax Credit for lower-wage workers by up to $1,500.

- Affordable Care Act Subsidies:
Extending subsidies for Americans on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) exchanges.

- Targeting Pharmaceutical Companies:
Harris plans to target pharmaceutical companies that block competition and engage in abusive practices, supporting ongoing efforts by the Federal Trade Commission.

For the past 72 hours, I seriously contemplated voting for Trump, but his speech at the RNC last night profoundly shifted my perspective.

I was filled with hope, believing that his near-death experience might inspire true personal growth and a transformative shift in his approach. His speech began with a promising tone of unity, strength, and conviction, sparking a glimmer of optimism in me. However, it soon devolved into the familiar and disheartening rhetoric of collusion, witch-hunts, and stolen elections—narratives that are simply untrue.

I find myself disappointed yet unsurprised. He remains unchanged, and it seems increasingly likely that he will ascend to the presidency once more. Despite my reservations, I earnestly hope that he can rise to this pivotal moment and genuinely unite our country. My prayer is for a leader who can bridge our divides and lead us forward together. 🇺🇸
