Thursday night elements returned to a time honored tradition of a summer throwdown. 5 DJs b2b2b2b2b all night for a select blend of styles and subgenera. made his elements debut, pushing a deep, dark DnB sound. brought the heavy rollers and his signature scratching. caned the tunes the other DJs coveted. Dabu, .reds brought the funk and jungle flair. And I supplied the liquid and jungly bits. kept the visuals varied and sharp as we switched from DJ to DJ. We went three for three from open to close, getting almost six full rotations in before the two am bell. Big ups all the selectors for excellent vibes all night, I grooved on everyone's tunes. Thanks to everyone who came out. It was great to see a good crowd of junglists. And thanks most of all to Lenore + Furious for setting up this throwdown and letting us loose on the decks

presents Select 1 Year anniversary with .rumble and me, with special guest pop-in from .divine on the mic. on the screens keeping it pixel fresh all night.
Much love to the Vibe Syndicate for revisiting the initial lineup from last year. So many good tunes from Craig Rumble's first set of UK bass and garage, and through my dubstep, halftime, and jungle, and into DJ Glowworm's house, rave, and breakbeat hardcore. Plus the b3b to finish things off! Always a fun time playing music with these two π.
Shouts to the crowd dancing and fist pumping every nasty drop. Y'all are why we do it! Special thx to for keeping it real, for some great pics (including #1 + 2 in this set), and for the final well framed pic.
DJ Trace made his first appearance in Boston in two decades, and brought all the techstep we needed in one huge night. Lenore opened with a steady blend of atmosphere, jungle, and liquid to warm our legs up for the main event. DJ Trace launched straight into a full dancefloor assault as he grabbed us with growlers and sent heads banging on beat. provided as sci-fi a backdrop as the sounds from the speakers, complementing the mood throughout the night.
This week Mx. Blaire (.bi.blaire ) brings their eclectic mix of beats on wax and stick, with the early worm on warmup duties.

Last Friday I took a friend and hopped in the car, taking the trip down to Hartford for for with and bookending Fava's DJ and MC performance. Proxymmetry led off with some halftime and footwork vibes before the liquid font flowed from Fava's mic. Tom B iLL closed the night with a heavy energy that left everyone sweaty.
Much love to Fava for signing my copy of Hearts Wander and being such a delightful dude. Thank you Detroit Mike and Jack the Human and Smoke Public House for giving bass and DnB a home in Hartford every third Friday. It was so great to see so many CT homies that weren't expecting me! Boh all junglist crew.
