Rosie and I enjoyed hanging out making posters, made lunch and then did some baking for the lemonade stand! She is such an awesome helper, we had a great day together!
My mom and I worked on this project together for The Middlesex YMCA designed, drew and colored. Each YMCA has a quilt piece and they will all be put together to make one quilt. This project was to help bring awareness and support to mental health ๐ canโt wait to see the whole thing!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month! May might be coming to a close but that doesnโt mean your mental health shouldnโt be a priority. Everybody has to put in the work all year to promote positive mental healthโฆwe can all get busy day to day routines but need to take time daily for ourselves.
Some ways to help:
Try to relax and reduce stress.
Find ways to learn and be creative.
Spend time in nature.
Connect with others.
Less screen time.
Look after your physical health.
Try to improve your sleep.
Good nutrition-what you feed your body is HUGE.
Always remember that you matter and YOU are enough! โค๏ธ
Update: we are going to have to reschedule this! Stay tuned for the new date ๐
This Saturday!! Come support a great cause! ๐
๐ Please share this post with your friends!! ๐
Hello everyone! My name is Kayleigh Moye, and I'm a junior at Middlesex High School. My spat, Rosie Robertson, brightens up Middlesex Elementary School as a kindergartener. Our hearts are set on a community service project that's close to our hearts - raising awareness for mental health. Specifically, we're dedicating our efforts to Addy's Colors Foundation. This foundation, nurtured by Amanda Ashburn, is a beacon of hope for families struggling with grief or facing tough times. It's all in memory of her precious daughter and close family friend, Addy Ashburn, a radiant spirit who left us far too soon. I chose Addy's Colors Foundation because I believe sharing Addy's story is a testament to the importance of support on the journey to mental healing, no matter the hardships one faces. If you're interested in learning more and keeping updated with our project please follow this page to see what Rosie and I will be up to in the following months!!
