An ordinary girl, capturing the life of an extraordinary dog and all her friends on their grand adve
All the way back in the year of 2013, in a land far, far away (Maryland), I wanted a puppy very much. I had all around given up after being either turned down from rescues (because I lived in an apartment with no fence) or because another family snatched them up before I had the chance. On the last day of my attempts, after weeks of nothing, I was defeated...and then I got a call. "I've got a fluf
fy puppy, she's yours if you want her," the foster dad said. I of course jumped at the opportunity, not even knowing which puppy I had just agreed to adopt, but I was rescuing blind and would work with whoever I got. It turned out she had already been adopted, but it was pending and the family never came to pick her up and stopped returning his calls. After two weeks, he was done waiting, and I wasn't wasting any time. Once the adoption was final and "Grace" became Winry, it was all magic from there. Since that chilly Maryland day, Winry and I have been exploring the world together, well..more like the United States! Now, a fully task trained Psychiatric Service Dog and a Instagram model extraordinaire, I share her journey as a form of an online scrapbook, with bits and pieces of her life through my photography. Watch, comment, and enjoy if you like, and remember, don't backyard breed or backyard buy while shelter dogs (just like Winry) die.
