Job Description:

Smart Tech Solutions is looking for a Security Systems Technician to join our team Full time for 5 days a week. As a Field Technician primarily focused on installations, you'll work on IP video systems and CCTV, access control, residential alarm systems.

Job requirements:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (Required)
• Self-starter and self-managed
• Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills
• Hand/Power Tools
• Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs
• Smartphone

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installation of CCTV and Security Surveillance systems.
• Install and program wired and wireless alarm systems.
• Install and terminate cat5 and cat6 cable, RG-59 Siamese cable.
• Perform cable testing and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to install conduit
• Access Control System. Should have a working knowledge of installation and configure door and card access systems.
• Knowledge of software on PCS and setting up NVR/DVR remote access.
• Troubleshoot equipment and effect repairs as required.
• Identify and resolve device and network issues and challenges
• Capable of performing with minimal supervision
• Quick to learn new, complex systems and technologies
• Excited to work with a growing team and be on the cutting edge on the latest trends in door access and smart home technologies
Other beneficial qualities include ability to work well with a small team, is a self-starter, and ambitious on learning and becoming a Smart Technician of security systems technologies.

Smart Tech Solutions is looking for a Technician with low voltage experience to join our team part time for 2-3 days a week and eventually to become a full time employee. As a Field Technician primarily focused on installations, you'll work on IP video systems and CCTV, access control, intrusion.

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (Required)
• Self-starter and self-managed
