My passion for crafts and sewing is creating a monster!! I'm sewing and selling! I'm making baby bur I am a high school autistic support teacher.
I work on functional life skills and job skills with my students. I am always looking for new projects or adventures to help get my students interested in new things and expand their work skills. Last school year we started a coffee company with money from a grant and it has been so successful that we are able to sustain it and keep the skills going. With this project the students sewed their own
aprons. It was a challenge and a risk but they did a great job and it has made me search for other outside the box projects and skills I can have the students try. In my time at home on maternity leave, my gorgeous son has given me time to focus on sewing. So with that along came C's Crafty Creations. My intention is to be able to make a project where eventually you will see products created and packaged by my students. One step at a time! I have already partnered with Jack, a former student, to make sugar scrubs to sell. He has been to a craft fair with me and is embracing this challenge. Let the adventures begin!
