It was another one of Suomisaundi's summer parties in a cottage located in a forest on the outskirts of Tampere, in Finland. Someone came up with the brilliant idea of adding a few magical drops to Jaloviina's bottle of alcohol that they would all drink later. When the magic took over everyone, they saw a Moose come out of a Finnish sauna dressed in bell-bottoms pants with a colorful sequined shirt who started playing vinyl by artists such as Donna Summer, Village People, Bee Gees, Boney M, Frederik… From this crazy experience we were inspired to make a compilation with what for us is a personal interpretation of Disco music and its most glorious hits, without forgetting that what really makes us vibrate and dance is Suomisaundi. This is the first compilation of what we have called the Random Records series. In the coming years, this series will pay homage to the different musical genres that have marked our lives, and that of previous generations. The first of them honors Disco music, which marked the 70s and strongly influenced other genres that appeared later.

2021 is leaving, soon we will travel without restrictions again and we will be able to see our friends, get together, dance until dawn and much more. Together this year we have been able to collect 1027 euros in profits through our artists and our music, which have already been sent to the NGO Survival International; “a global movement for the rights of indigenous and tribal peoples”. I want to show my deep admiration and respect to all these artists, who have collaborated non-profit for this beautiful and meaningful cause. And finally, thank you, who supports us continuously, without you none of this would make sense. Happy and prosperous 2022! ❤️
