ONLINE FREE Mental Health Yoga class tonight.
International Mental Health day. Over the years I have been very open of my own struggles and how I “live” with mental illness.
I still hope that one day that one day mental illness will lose the stigma. I want you to know that you are not alone. That I do understand the dark days, the days it is hard to get out of bed and the tiredness you feel thinking that you feel this way for the rest of your life.
The truth is there is not a “one” fix. It takes many small steps at a time, support, for me medication and most of all self-compassion. The truth is some day’s you may not feel like you want to be here. I know this too. We can still be “here” in this place together.
I would to tell you that Yoga is all you need but it isn't. Please ask for help, if you are feeling like the pain and darkness is getting too much. It you know someone sad; ask them if they are have suicidal thoughts. Tell them you are there. Offer time to sit with them and simply make them a cup of tea.
I hope you can join me at 5:30PM. Begin Within is a simple and beautiful practice to honour the healing aspect of yoga and to have compassion of what the emotions are going on within you.

We celebrated your life on Saturday and remembered your magical soul. I feel so blessed to have known you as we had crossed paths time to time and from attending your beautiful classes. I always looked up to you as a yoga teacher and still feel inspired by your kind heart and beauty.
One of my favourite memories is being at your La Luna Social you and Ali so beautifully hosted. I was pregnant with my second daughter Journey. You were so caring and thoughtful with me through the class and took the time at the end to bless me and my baby. I will always remember that & our womb to womb hugs. 🫂

In this 65-minute beginner yoga class, you will experience how yoga addresses your overall wellness through body movement, breath awareness, and heart connection.
A class to reconnect to the fundamentals of hatha yoga. Today, I will guide you through a simple hatha class to help you feel the overall benefits and “feeling” of yoga.
You will be guided only to do what you can, so don't force or introduce props. The props allow you the freedom to be in the pose and strengthen your foundation of each shape or posture.
