The Teddy Bear Clinic with BEHS Allied Health seniors was amazing today! I hope your student tells you all about it!
The stuffies were snuggled and listened to books and were read to and did math and I even saw a few get a little sip of water from the backpack. I didn’t stop to take nearly enough pictures!

We finished our Heggerty phonemic awareness videos with Mrs. VanHekken recently and had a little recognition today! This is the first year we’ve used them all the way through, and WOW, we are seeing the impact!
This game was so fun today! A great way to practice finding an unknown part of an addition problem!

Today’s SPLASH celebration was so fun! Morgan’s splash ticket was drawn and our team worked together to win against the 3 other teams!
Today students worked together to create a large story element poster for “Room on the Broom”. I’ll have to snap a picture of the finished product next week!
We jumped right back into things this week and reviewed what it means to have self control on Monday with some bubble wrap!

Students chose some “just right books” for their book bag this week and learned a new sight word practice station.
We’ve spent the last two weeks learning about the Zones of Regulation and the emotions associated with each zone. Today, students drew an image for each zone to describe a feeling from that zone. They used their directed drawing notebooks to draw with shapes and include appropriate facial expressions.
